This course is designed to deliver a portfolio of knowledge and understanding to aide medical providers in the private sector to carry out of their role of operational command in a prehospital setting. 

  

The Prehospital Operational Command course is delivered to National Occupational Standards and is accredited through our CPD provider. The CPD Provider offers a fully registered certification service and for every hour taught counts towards an official CPD point.

1. Assess the situation and report other responders and to a tactical level.

2. Conduct a dynamic risk assessment

3. Prepare, implement, and review a plan of action based on the dynamic risk assessment and tactical plan within own operational area of responsibility.

4. Ensure that any individual under your command are fully briefed and de-briefed.

5. Work in cooperation with, and communicate effectively with, other responders.

6. Assess the resources required and deploy them to meet the needs of the response.

7. Identify resources constraints and communicate to a tactical level.

8. Monitor and protect the health, safety, and welfare of individuals during the response.

9. Record and make effective decisions

10. Prepare to handover command in a timely manner.
     

Candidates will leave the course having been delivered the knowledge and understanding and will be given access to unlimited membership within the business for future FREE CPD events and will be given a portfolio book to manage their own command CPD with support from our expert trainers.
